Creating websites that work as hard as the businesses behind them since 2004.
Successful website projects begin with clarity.
Before deciding what a website should look like, it’s important to understand what it needs to accomplish. That starts with listening—learning about your business, your audience, your goals, and the challenges you’re trying to solve.
How I Work
From there, we create a strategy that guides the messaging, structure, and design of the website, ensuring every decision supports a clear objective.
We can’t hit the target if we don’t know where the target is.
The goal is a website that accurately represents your business, connects with the right audience, and works as hard as you do.
If you know something isn’t working with your website—but aren’t sure what to fix or where to start – let’s talk.
A website project can feel overwhelming if the process isn’t clear
Over the years I’ve found that the best results come from slowing down just enough at the beginning to ask the right questions and clarify what matters most. When the strategy and structure are clear, everything that follows becomes easier — including design.
The process below is designed to keep things focused, collaborative, and manageable for everyone involved.
A Clear Three-Step Process

Introductory Call
Every project begins with a conversation.
This brief call gives us a chance to talk about your business, your current website, and what feels unclear or frustrating. It also gives you an opportunity to ask questions and decide whether this approach feels like the right fit.
There’s no preparation required and no obligation — just a chance to explore whether it makes sense to move forward.

Blueprint Development Meeting
The goal of the Blueprint Development Meeting is simple: to create a clear plan at the beginning that keeps the project focused, realistic, and free of surprises.
During this meeting we clarify:
- your audience and how they evaluate options
- the messages your website needs to communicate
- how visitors should navigate the site
- the information your team wants clearly presented
Key stakeholders are included so everyone’s perspective is heard early in the process. This helps ensure everyone understands the decisions being made going forward.
This conversation forms the blueprint that guides the rest of the project.
Afterward, you’ll receive a detailed proposal outlining scope, timeline, and next steps.
In some cases, companies choose to begin with the Blueprint Development Meeting on its own. This can be especially helpful for:
- startups
- companies preparing to make a shift in focus, add new products or services
- companies that are aware that they do not have a clear marketing message
- those wishing to be sure all stakeholders are on the same page before making larger marketing or website decisions.

Design and Build
Once the direction is clear and the client is ready, I begin designing and building the website itself.
Because the strategy and structure have already been defined, the design phase becomes a natural extension of the work we’ve done together.
Throughout the process you’ll know what’s happening and what comes next.
The goal is a website that reflects the quality of your business and supports the way your company actually grows.
What Clients Often Appreciate
Clients often tell me they appreciate three things about this process:
- Clarity — everyone understands what we’re doing and why
- Collaboration — key perspectives are included early
- Calm progress — projects move forward without unnecessary stress
A website project doesn’t have to feel chaotic to be successful.
A Good Fit
This process tends to work best for businesses that:
- value thoughtful planning before design
- want their website aligned with how their business actually operates
- are ready to invest in doing the work properly
It may not be the best approach if the goal is simply to launch something quickly with minimal discussion.
